Dr. Blair Green grew up in Manhattan and received her bachelor’s degree from Vassar College with a major in biology and a minor in ancient societies. She then attended veterinary school at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she spent her clinical year focusing on small animals and exotics.

After graduating Dr. Green worked as an associate veterinarian at a small animal hospital in East Brunswick, New Jersey for two years. She then completed an internship at VCA Veterinary Referral Associates in Gaithersburg, Maryland in avian and exotic medicine and surgery, where she received specialized training in birds, reptiles, and small exotic mammals. She joined the Rye Harrison Veterinary team in 2011. Her areas of interest include avian/exotics, dentistry, and pathology.

Dr. Green lives in White Plains with her rabbit Jasper and her cat Polyxena. In her free time she enjoys reading, cooking, and exploring New York City.
