Dr. Peter Romano
Dr. Romano earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Cornell University's Veterinary School in 2007. Immediately after graduation Dr. Romano completed a small animal focused internship at Long Island Veterinary Specialists Referral and Emergency Hospital in Plainview, NY where he received advanced training in both medical and surgical patient care. Since finishing his internship in Long island, Dr. Romano has been practicing small animal general medicine. His focused areas of interest are neurology and oncology.
Dr. Romano grew up and lived in White Plains until he went to Manhattan College in the Bronx, where he received his Bachelor's Degree in 2001. He currently lives in Yorktown Heights with his wife, Patricia, also a veterinarian, his German Short-Haired Pointer Hunter, and his 2 cats Rashers (Gaelic for bacon!) and Sophie.
In his spare time, Dr. Romano likes to train for athletic competitions, cook Italian food and explore New York City History.
